Itinerary

Day 0

Drive from Dehradun to Sankri village (180km approx.)

  • Meet us at boarding point in Dehradun early in the morning, then from there we will start the magnificent drive to Sankri village, also known as the trekking hub.
  • The town offers euphoric perspectives on the Himalayan horizon and a plenty of mountain tops, looking at you from a separation.
  • The drive will take about 10 hours to complete, with adequate pauses or halts for meals along the way.
  • Enjoy the breath-taking vistas of the elegant beauty of Dhauladhars and the sloping greens along the way.
  • The path runs parallel to the river banks. You will reach Sankri late in the evening, after which you can check-in at the guest house/ cottage for your overnight stay.

Day 1

Sankri to Osla via Taluka

  • Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast checkout from Sankri.
  • We will start our journey towards Taluka village which is situated at a distance of 13 km from Sankri. If the road is accessible, then we will complete our journey by a jeep.
  • The village is decorated with pahadi homes made up of stone, mud and intricate wood. This alluring village is situated at an elevation of 6234 feet. You will also find some guest houses, and small confectionary stores used by the locals.
  • Our trek begins from Taluka village, walking along the Supin river glacier, which will be our first part of the trek.
  • Enroute Osla, you will witness the untouched Har-Ki-Dun (11,700 feet) valley with the famous peak named ‘Swargarohini’ at an altitude of 20,000 feet  in the background.
  • We will reach Osla after crossing some small water streams flowing far from the Supin river.
  • Dinner and an overnight stay in your pitched tents.

Day 2

Trek from Osla/Seema village to Kalkatiyadhar (waterfall campsite)
  • Wake up early in the morning.
  • After having a delicious breakfast in the lap of nature along with a tremendous view, we will get ready for the trek to Kalkatiyadhar (waterfall campsite).
  • It passes through the forest full of Walnut, Chestnut, and Willow trees. Osla, which is located at a height of 8400 feet. The idea is to reach just in time to enjoy the splendid sight of Himalayan sunset.
  • Along the way, you will pass through overwhelming grasslands, such as the coniferous forests.
  • We will trek along the Tons river. Also going to witness the natural beauty of Himachal while crossing multiple high-altitude bridges.
  • After reaching there, drop your bag-packs in camps and enjoy the view with some delicious mouth-watering snacks.
  • Dinner and an overnight stay in your pitched tents.

Day 3

Trek from Kalkatiyadhar to Har Ki Dun pass then descend back to Kalkatiyadhar

  • Wake up early in the morning after having a mouth-watering breakfast with an amazing view, we will begin our trek towards Har Ki Dun up to 20340 feet.
  • The trek takes around 7-8 hours in duration, and the total distance of the trek is 12 km uphill.
  • The initial trek from Kalkatiyadhar is easy and continues on the left side of the valley. 
  • After crossing a hanging bridge over the Supin river, the trail becomes steep. The trail passes through the picturesque & breathtaking meadows. Coniferous forest is visible on the opposite side of the valley which makes Har Ki Dun a photographer's paradise. Har Ki Dun offers pleasant views of majestic Swargarohini peak on the western side. 
  • After reaching the top of Har Ki Dun valley, gather some unforgettable memories by clicking some pictures.
  • Have your packed lunch over there. After an hour, we will start descending back towards Kalkatiyadhar with the same route.
  • Overnight stay and dinner in your tents.

Day 4

Trek back from Kalkatiyadhar to Osla

  • Early in the morning after having your breakfast we will start descending towards Osla village.
  • The duration of the trek is 5-6 hours, and the total distance of the trek is about 8 km. 
  • The picturesque valley surrounded by the massive mountains covered with snow over the top surface of the mountain. The valley covering the green and grassy patches. The way is full of photogenic places we will take an adequate break to enjoy.We follow the same trail and reach the campsite.
  • Check-in to our tents after reaching Osla village. You may take rest in our tents or else you can admire the beauty of the valley.
  • Overnight stay and have a delicious dinner in our camps.

Day 5

Trek back from Osla to Sankri base camp.

  • Re-energize yourself as today we will going to trek back to Sankri base camp which is a bit long trek but the majestic views in our way will surely boost you up.
  • After having our breakfast we will trek back to Sankri it will take around 7-8 hrs in duration.
  • After reaching Sankri base camp you can check in to our rooms and have dinner under the sky covered with stars and take rest.

Day 6

The final destination drives back from Sankri to Dehradun via Mori.

  • Start early and enjoy your final sunrise in the mountains. After freshening up, post-breakfast, check out by around 8 AM.
  • Since the drive will take as long as 11 hours to finish, including breaks for dinner and lunch, it’s suggested to begin your drive on time.
  • We take a short drive to Mori and only if the weather allows we will enjoy water rafting. Then start our drive from Mori to Dehradun.
  • You will reach Dehradun at around 7 PM, as your adventure with us ends here.
