8. Dharamkot: Dharamkot( aka Dharamkot) is a small hill station in Kangra quarter in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. 9. St. John In The Wilderness Church: St. John in the Nature is a Protestant church devoted to John the Baptist. The Church is known for its Belgian stained- glass windows bestowed by Lady Elgin( Mary Louisa Lambton), woman of Lord Elgin. Though the church structure survived the 1905 Kangra earthquake, which killed close to 19,800 people, injured thousands in the Kangra area, and destroyed most structures in Kangra, Mcleodganj and Dharamshala.

How to Reach Mcleodganj

1. By Air: Kangra Airport is the nearest airport to Mcleodganj, This hill station is just 20 km away from the airport. If you are opting for this, land at Kangra airport & take a taxi directly to Mcleodganj.

2. By Rail: There are two ways to reach your final destination by rail:

Kangra Mandir & Pathankot are two stations. Kangra mandir is 25 km away from Mcleodganj and Pathankot is 90 km away. So you can choose any station & take a taxi from there which directly takes you to reach Mcleodganj.

3. By Road: If you opt for the road trip then you start it from anywhere you want & reach the main town that is Dharmshala, which is situated 9 km before Mcleodganj. We can also go through the road service which is provided by the government from Delhi. The bus service is HRTC bus service which is available from Kashmiri Gate Delhi.
