Chandratal- Chandratal lake is one such location that transports you to different proportions together. It is situated at an altitude of 13,000 feet and exposes different shades of blue colour. During the day, Chandratal lake reflects the aquamarine blue of the sky, while dusk paints it with a shadow of deep emerald. Whereas upon nightfall, it turns sparkling black. Kasol- Kasol is a small hamlet nestled in the parvati valley. Kasol is renowned for its scenic beauty, breathtaking views pf himalayan peak , vibrant culture and calm atmosphere.

Solang Valley- Solang Valley is known as the adventure hub of manali, it offers activities like snowboarding, skiing, paragliding and zorbing. The valley's stunning landscape is a sight to behold.

Rohtang Pass- Although it's often crowded with tourists, Rohtang Pass offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. It is accessible from Manali and serves as the gateway to Lahaul and Spiti valley.

How to prepare for Hampta Pass Trek?

If you are going to do Hampta Pass trek so you must prepare something before that so lets understand about them:

Physical fitness- If you are going to do any trek, you must have good physical fitness because when you are going to walk from the first day to the last day. Physical Fitness is the most important thing whether you are doing a trek or not. If you have physical fitness then only the endurance can be created which will help you to cover the distance.

Acclimatization- Hampta pass Trek is placed at high altitude, acclimatization is mainly to prevent altitude sickness. Spend a couple of days in nearby places and then start the trek,so that your body can become equal to the high altitude. You can live easily in the environment.

Gear and Equipment- We must have all the equipment & gears which are going to be useful on the trek. These equipment will help the trekker to trek safely. Some of the equipment which are used there are: Trekking Shoes, Trekking Pants, Trekking Jackets, Poncho, Trek Pole, Water Bottle, Woolen Cap, Head Torch.

Pack Light- We must pack less so that we can move easily on the mountain. As we know that we are going to walk on a steep not plain area so we must pack a very light backpack which we can easily carry with us.

Hydration and Nutrition- Hydration & Nutrition is a must while doing any trek because when you are doing a trek you will get your body physically active in it. All the Nutrition of your body will get consumed. Hydration is also important because when you are at altitude so your body may not acclimatize according to the environment & if you are not hydrated then you can have AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness). In this sickness we are not going to die but there are some problems you can have like Headache, Swelling etc.

The snow gradually starts to melt from the month of june uncovering the scenic beauty of the mountains and trails. Trekkers can see the transformation of the landscape as lush green meadows emerge amidst the towering peaks. July and August mark the peak trekking season, with the trail visible and the weather being the most steady.

Moving on to Autumn, from September to November, the ascent still maintains its allure. The weather remains stable and clear, providing superb visibility of the surrounding peaks. Day 1

Manali Arrival & Drive To Jobra | Trek To Chika (2 km)

  • Assemble at the boarding point in Manali (location will be shared) and drive to Jobra. Jobra serves as the base camp for the Hampta Pass trek.
  • The scenic drive from Manali to Jobra has many hairpin bends and offers breathtaking views of Kullu Valley. After arriving in Jobra, have some leisure and start your trek towards Chika. From lush green forests to refreshing Rani Nallah stream, the trekking trail to Chika has so much to offer.
  • After arriving in Chika, check in to our scenic campsite and have some leisure. Feel free to take a stroll around your campsite and soak amidst the stunning Himalayan beauty. Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in camps at Chika.

Day 2

Chika To Balu Ka Ghera Trek | 9 km

  • Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast, we will trek from Chika to Balu Ka Ghera. The trekking trail, accompanied by Jwara river, starts as a short meadow terrain that later turns into boulders and loose rocks. Get mesmerized by the stunning views of the mighty Dhauladhar range. 
  • After arriving in Balu Ka Ghera, check in to our camps and have some leisure. In the evening, savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in Balu Ka Gera.

Day 3

Balu Ka Ghera To Siagoru Trek via Hampta Pass | 7 km

  • Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast, we will start our trek from Balu Ka Ghera to the Siagoru via Hampta Pass nestled at 14,100 ft above sea level. Entire trail is made up of boulders hence it becomes a bit trickier.
  • Witness the gorgeous view of Deo Tibba while traversing through the mighty Hampta Pass. Experience the stunning natural beauty, vibrant fauna and pristine glacial streams flowing through it. 
  • Post lunch, trek down from Hampta Pass to Siagoru. The downhill trail consists of slippery soil and loose stones. After arriving in Siagoru, have some leisure in our camps. In the evening, savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in Siagoru.

Day 4

Siagoru To Chatru Trek (7 kms) | Chatru To Chandratal Drive & Back

  • Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast, we will start our downhill trek from Siagoru to Chatru. Stay alert as you descend down over tricky slopes devoid of proper vegetation.
  • After arriving in Chatru, check-in to our camps and post lunch drive towards Chandratal - a glacial lake situated in Lahaul Valley and source of Chandra river.
  • Soak in the calmness of Chandratal (also known as the Moon Lake) and capture some #InstaPerfect shots. Experience the virgin natural charm of Lahaul.
  • Post a short sightseeing tour to Chandratal, drive back to Chatru and have some leisure in our camps. In the evening, savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in Chatru.

Day 5

Drive From Chatru To Manali | Manali Drop

  • Wake up early in the morning and post morning tea & breakfast, check-out from our camps and drive from Chatru to Manali.
  • By afternoon, you will be dropped at Manali. If time permits, feel free to stroll around the town or chill at various theme-based cafes in Old Manali. Trek ends with lots of amazing memories and unforgettable experiences.
