Sits perfectly in Garhwal Himalayas, Chopta is a sleepy little hamlet just perfect to unwind in the lap of nature. Adorned with the beauty of snowy mountains and lush meadows, Chopta is a gateway to Tungnath (World’s highest Lord Shiva temple) and majestic Chandrashila peak trek. The adventure remains incomplete without experiencing the tranquility offered at Deoriatal, lies close to Sari village. From a nature lover to bird watching amateur, the trek disappoints none. Kedarnath is one of the most sacred pilgrimages of Lord Shiva located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. Perched at an altitude of 3586 mt, it is one of the four major sites of Chota Char Dham Yatra and also one of the five Panch Kedar. The Kedarnath Temple lies amidst the magnificent snow-capped Garhwal Himalayan ranges and is visited by thousands of tourists every year. The temple was built over a thousand years ago by massive stone slabs over a large rectangular platform. The present temple was built by Adi Shankaracharya. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. In Kedarnath, there are more than 200 shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Itinerary

Day 0

Assemble at boarding point in Delhi - Akshardham Metro Station.
Start an overnight journey to Chopta and socialize with your co-travellers.

Day 1

Enroute Chopta, we will grab a satisfying breakfast, witness the beautiful view of the mountain range of Garhwal Himalayas.
After arriving in Chopta, check in to our scenic property, freshen-up, regroup for a hearty lunch and have some leisure.
Post Lunch, go for a forest walk, near to the property.
In the evening, enjoy warm bonfire and mouth-watering snacks under a million stars.
Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Wake up early to witness the beautiful sunrise and post breakfast check out from our property.
Begin your trek to Tungnath - one of the Panch Kedar and World’s highest temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Trek further to magnificent Chandrashila peak situated at 13,000 ft (if weather permits) and gather for an #InstaPerfect group picture.
Trek back to Chopta village and drive back to Chopta, check in to our property and have some leisure.
Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 3

Wake up to a peaceful mountain morning and post breakfast, drive to Gaurikund.
Begin your trek to Kedarnath Dham- one of the Char Dham of Uttarakhand.
You can also choose Pony/Doli/Helicopter for the trek at your own cost.
Reach Kedarnath by late evening.
After arriving in Kedarnath, check in to our Guest House/Campsite, freshen-up and have some leisure.
Take your Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Wake up early morning to visit the Kedarnath Temple.
Witness the beautiful sunrise and the mesmerising view of high altitude peaks behind Kedarnath.
Post breakfast, check out from our guest house.
Trek down to Gaurikund and Drive to Chopta.
Reach Chopta by late evening, check in to our Hotel, freshen-up and have some leisure.
Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5

Post breakfast, start your journey to Delhi.
Take a pit stop at Rudraprayag and Devprayag to witness the beautiful confluence of river Alaknanda and Mandkini & Alaknanda and Bhagirathi.
Take a pit stop at Rishikesh to visit Laksham Jhula and Rishikesh market.
Reach Delhi by Next Day morning.

Inclusions

Transportation from Delhi to Delhi: Tempo Traveler/Cab.
Accommodation on sharing basis: Cottages/Camps (Chopta), Guest House (Kedarnath).
Experienced and cool trip leader/trek guide.
Bonfire (if weather permits) and evening snacks - only at Chopta.
Meals: Lunch (1), Dinner (4), Breakfast (4).
Driver allowances, toll taxes, parking, state taxes.

Exclusions

Any extra meals apart from the ones mentioned under inclusions.
Travel Insurance, items of a personal nature like porterage, tips, laundry etc.
Any entry fees, extra expenses for optional activities or tickets, unless quoted in Inclusions.
Any other costing involved due to circumstances like natural calamity, weather conditions, riots, roadblocks, landslides or any other forced circumstances which are out of our control.
