When you face situations such as landslides you have to be alert and awake debris flow fatalities may occur while sleeping. Stay away from land slide area and don't leave your co-travellers. help your neighbour who needs help such as infants ladies and old people. You should not be panicked by the situations and try to stay away from water as well and keep yourself indoors.

Yes, it is absolutely safe unless and until you are attentive. Try thinking of Sri lanka as an Indian city and you will be good to go. People are welcoming but you need to behave and dress up properly at some places because people are little conservative in some regions..

Yes,you can do Triund trek without a guide as you have to follow a single trail and there are rare chances of getting lost in your way to Triund. However, going along with a guide if you are not an experienced trekker, is a better option because it can get risky at times. So, it is always better to take precautions instead of risks

Yes,you can hire a camp at Triund top but it is recommended to book in advance for your own safety. Triund attracts a lot of trekkers and gets crowded. So,it is possible that the campsites may get filled or you don't get your desired services. So,it is better to do a bit of research and book in advance. However, camping is closed at Triund top for time being and you can only camp at Dharmkot, which is the starting point of the trek.

No, putting up camps by unauthorized parties is banned in Triund and no one who is not registered by eco tourism can pitch up the camps. However, you will get many campsites that offer camping in budget on the top of Triund but it is banned for now by the order of High court for few days unless any further order comes out.

One can reach Chandratal by public transport  but for that you will have to keep some points in mind.

You will have to reach Manali first and then take a public bus (HRTC) towards Kaza. After Rohtang and Chhatru, you will reach Batal.

You will have to take off here.

From Batal you will have to hike towards the lake for 14 kms as it is not reachable by public transport.

Manali has no railway station of its own and one has to take a bus or a cab to reach Manali. The nearest railway station is Pathankot.

If you are planning to just go and visit places in Manali then yes it is safe however, going on treks can be a little risky at this time.It is safe but not very convenient as it rains heavily and almost everyday.Apart from all the inconvenience, Manali looks absolutely stunning in monsoon period where there is lush greenery at every corner and colourful flowers are in full bloom.
