Gokarna can be visited at any time of year. However, the months of October to February are best for visiting Gokarna because the temperature is nice and the humidity is at its lowest. Summer lasts from March through May, and it is too hot to relax on the beaches.

The monsoon season lasts from June until early September, when the beaches are either closed or too deserted and unclean. If you want to view the vibrant temples, the Shivratri festival in March and the Ganesh Chaturthi festival in August are the finest times to visit Gokarna.
