Bring only the things you need at the Full Moon Party: As it is one of the wildest parties, people with intentions of stealing would find this as the best opportunity to do so. It is advisable to bring only what is needed and not too expensive things like camera, wallet, branded watches and important documents like passport, credit cards, debit cards etc so that you don't lose your valuables. Put a secure bag around your waist or near your chest and keep some cash and phone in it.

Don't accept drinks from strangers: One of the popular ways of mishaps in such parties is when you accept drinks from strangers, it is dangerous as it may contain drugs or other harmful substances.
Don’t play with fire: There are many fire activities in Thailand related to fires, and though they look cool it is risky as when people are drunk or high and do such activities there are chances of getting injured and burnt.
Don’t dive into the ocean after the party: After the party the ocean becomes the center of all garbage and trash and sometimes even full of unhygienic and disgusting things. Even some harmful water animals like jellyfish can hurt you.
Wear comfortable clothes: Full Moon Party is a long night of crazy partying so it is better for you if you wear comfortable clothes to the party.
