The Srinagar-Leh highway (NH1) via Zoji La Pass typically opens around late May or early June allowing for a picturesque road trip. The weather in both Srinagar and Leh is pleasant during summers and tourist attractions are accessible.
  • June to August- Continue your journey from Leh to Manali during these months. The Leh-Manali highway (NH3) via Baralacha La Pass is open during this period, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas. However be prepared for occasional rain showers especially in July and August.

Day 0

Srinagar Arrival | Dal Lake Diaries

  • After arriving in Srinagar, pick-up from the airport and drive towards Dal Lake. Check-in to your cozy houseboat and freshen-up.

  • As per your time, head out to explore the streets near Dal Lake, go for Shikara ride or just chill in your houseboat (by your own).

  • In the evening, don’t miss out the much-needed acclimatization session by your trip captain followed by home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a houseboat.

Day 1

Srinagar to Kargil via Drass | Kargil Arrival

  • Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast drive from Srinagar to Kargil. Feel the thrill while riding over Zoji La (11,575 feet). We will be travelling through Drass (World’s second coldest inhabited place) where you can take a good stopover for lunch.

  • Soak in the amazing views of Kargil, Tiger Hill, and other famous peaks enroute. Visit the famous Kargil War Memorial to pay homage to the martyrs of the Kargil war.

  • After arriving in Kargil, check in to our cozy hotel and have some much-needed leisure. Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 2

Kargil to Leh | Leh Arrival

  • Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast check out from our hotel in Kargil. Start yet another long road journey to Leh from Kargil.

  • Enroute we’ll cross Fotula Pass (13,479 feet) and Namika La (12,198 feet). Ahead, visit the Lamayuru Monastery and seek blessings. This region is also known as ‘Moonland’.

  • We’ll visit the Hall of Fame, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and Magnetic Hill. Witness the confluence of Indus-Zanskar rivers as we move ahead towards Leh town.

  • After arriving in Leh, we’ll visit the iconic Shanti Stupa known overlooking the beautiful Leh town.

  • Check in to our comfy hotel and have some much-needed leisure. Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 3

Leh to Nubra Valley | Hunder Sand Dunes

  • Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast drive towards Nubra Valley via one of the World’s highest motorable roads - Khardung La situated at 17,582 feet.

  • We will take a pit stop at North Pullu or Khardung village to grab a satisfying lunch.

  • After arriving in Hunder Sand Dunes, check in to our cozy campsite and quickly head out to take a drive on a double hump bactrian camel - a unique mammal found here in India's cold desert. Optionally, you can also go for ATV Quad biking in sand dunes by your own.

  • Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in swiss tents.

Day 4

Turtuk - India’s Last Village | Back to Nubra

  • Wake up to a peaceful mountain morning in Nubra Valley and post breakfast drive towards Turtuk village to explore the northernmost part of India as we go parallel to Shyok River to reach the Last Village.

  • Flanked by Nubra on one side and Baltistan on the other, the landscape, culture, language, clothing, and even the physical features of people change quite drastically crossing over into Turtuk. Witness the jawdropping vistas of snow-clad Karakoram mountains as seen from this sleepy village situated close to the Indo-Pak border.

  • Drive back to Nubra Valley and retire at our campsite in Hunder. Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in swiss tents.

Day 5

Nubra to Pangong | Mesmerizing Pangong Tso

  • Wake up to a peaceful mountain morning and post breakfast, move towards Shyok Valley and drive further to Pangong Tso.

  • Before saying goodbye to the majestic Nubra Valley, we will visit the stunning statue of Maitreya Buddha at Diskit Monastery. 

  • Enroute Pangong Tso, we will take a pit stop at Durbuk or Tangtse village to grab a satisfying lunch.

  • After arriving at Pangong Tso, check in to our scenic campsite and quickly head out for a walk around the lake for an #InstaPerfect shot. Enjoy the mesmerizing sunset scene along Pangong Tso. Pangong Tso is Asia's one of the most scenic high altitude salt water lakes situated at 14,270 feet. This gorgeous lake changes its color 4-5 times a day.

  • Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in swiss tents.

Day 6

Pangong to Leh | Cafes, Bazaars & More

  • Wake up early in the morning and experience the soothing sunrise at Pangong Tso.

  • Post breakfast, drive back towards Leh town via another high altitude motorable road - Chang La situated at 17,586 feet. Enroute Leh, we will stop by at the gorgeous Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. After arriving in Leh, check in to our cozy hotel and have some much-needed leisure.

  • Since this is your last day in the beautiful Leh town, therefore make the most out of it by chilling with your travel clan at various quaint cafes and take authentic souvenirs for your loved ones back home.  

  • Post exploration, savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 7

Leh to Sarchu | Sarchu Arrival

  • Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast drive towards Sarchu from Leh. Enroute we’ll cross over Moore Plains (15,400 feet) and high altitude passes like Tanglang La (17,480 feet), Lachung La (16,616 feet) and Nakee La (15,547 feet).

  • We will be greeted with Gata Loops (22 hairpin bends) situated at 13,750 feet after taking a pit stop at Pang to grab a satisfying lunch.

  • After reaching Sarchu in Lahaul valley, check in to our campsite and have some leisure. Regroup to savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in swiss camps.

Day 8

Sarchu to Manali | Manali arrival

  • Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast drive to Manali via Atal Tunnel. Make your way through alluring landscapes.

  • Get mesmerized by the exceptional beauty of Suraj Tal at Baralacha La top. Feel the thrill while driving over Zingzing Bar (14,010 feet) and Baralacha La (16,500 feet).

  • After arriving in Manali, check in to our hotel, freshen-up and have some leisure. Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 9

Manali Self Exploration | Manali to Delhi

  • Wake up to a peaceful mountain morning and post breakfast, check-out from our hotel in Manali and head out for self exploration.

  • Feel free to take a stroll around - visit Hidimba Devi Temple, Jogini Falls or go for cafe hopping in Old Manali and try different local cuisines.

  • In the evening, start-off your overnight journey from Manali to Delhi.

Day 10

Delhi Arrival | Trip Ends

  • Reach Delhi early morning with lots of amazing memories and unforgettable experiences.
