The journey starts within the picturesque beauty of Chopta tucked away in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, Chopta is a hidden glittering gem often referred to as the “Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand”, dazzling travelers with its lush pastures, dense forests of rhododendron and deodar and mesmerizing views of the snow-capped peaks. It serves as the base camp for the trek to Tungnath, the highest Shiva Temple in the world. The trek to Tungnath from Chopta is a moderate ascent meandering through picturesque trails adorned with vibrant wildflowers and offering occasional encounters with playful Himalayan Wildlife.
As travelers ascend, they are greeted by the majestic sight of the towering Himalayan Peaks including Nanda Devi, Trishul and Chaukhamba standing sentinel over the valley below. Upon reaching Tungnath, at an altitude 3,860 meters (12,073 feet), travelers are immersed in a realm of spirituality and serenity. This ancient Temple is believed to be over 1000 years old, exudes an aura of reverence, inviting pilgrims and trekkers alike to pay homage to Lord Shiva.
From Tungnath, the trek further leads to Chandrashila, the summit embellished with mesmerizing views of the Himalayan range, making it a perfect climax for Chopta - Tungnath expedition.
Further on, the natural and spiritual immersion of Chopta, Tungnath, the journey concludes in the bustling city of Rishikesh located at the banks of sacred Ganges River. Rishikesh is also known as the “Yoga Capital of the World” offers a lively tapestry of spirituality, adventure and restoration.
Tourists can also explore countless Ashrams and Temples scattered around the city, each resonating with centuries old-wisdom and tranquility. The Ganges River, considered holy by millions beckons visitors for cleansing dips and serene boat rides amidst the serene surroundings. Adventure enthusiasts can indulge in thrilling activities like white-water rafting, bungee jumping, and cliff jumping adding an adrenaline rush to their spiritual sojourn.

Enroute Chopta, we will take a pit stop at Rudraprayag to grab a satisfying breakfast, witness the beautiful confluence of Bhagirathi & Alaknanda rivers at Devprayag.
After arriving in Chopta, check in to our scenic property, freshen-up and have some leisure.
The ones with high energy levels, feel free to take a stroll around the property.
In the evening, enjoy warm bonfire and mouth-watering snacks under a million stars.

Trek to Chandrashila via Tungnath Mahadev Temple
Wake up early to witness the beautiful sunrise and post breakfast check out from our campsite.
Begin your trek to Tungnath - one of the Panch Kedar and World’s highest temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Wake up to a peaceful mountain morning and post breakfast, drive to Sari village.
Begin your trek to mesmerizing Deoriatal.
Trek back to Sari village and post lunch start-off your journey to Rishikesh.
Rishikesh Exploration Day
Waking up to the gurgling of Ganga River, post Breakfast we head out for a day of adventure. At first, we go for an exciting rafting session which is thrilling beyond comparison.
Later after lunch, we head out to explore the two iconic bridges that is Ram Jhula and Janaki Setu.
At sunset, we become a part of the sacred Ganga Aarti and later indulge in Cafe Hopping and Shopping.
After a day of fun, we take an overnight journey to Delhi.
Delhi Arrival
Reach Delhi early morning with lots of amazing memories and unforgettable experiences.
Transportation from Delhi to Delhi: Tempo Traveler/Cab.
