Nestled in the lap of mighty Dhauladhars, Mcleodganj is a beautiful town also known as Little Lhasa. This little Himalayan retreat situated in the upper Dharamshala showcases a beautiful blend of Tibetan culture with some British influence. From meditating and seeking blessings at colorful Buddhist monasteries, going on adventurous trails, to enjoying good vibes with good food at various themed cafes, Mcleodganj in Himachal has it all for every kind of wanderlust soul. McleodGanj is also a starting point for a number of Himalayan treks. One of the most famous of them is the Triund trek, a perfect option for mountain camping and stargazing, treating you with mind-blowing views of the Dhauladhar range in the backdrop and beautiful Kangra Valley in front. The paragliding capital of India, Bir is a small town positioned in Kangra Valley highly influenced by the Tibetan culture due to Tibetan community settlement in this town. Decorated with quaint cafes, vibrant monasteries, lush tea gardens, and gorgeous sunset points, Bir is just as apt for backpackers and solo travelers.

Day 0

Delhi to Mcleodganj | Overnight Journey

Assemble at the boarding point in Delhi.
Start an overnight journey to Mcleodganj and socialize with your co-travellers.

Day 1

Mcleodganj Arrival | Local Exploration & Cafe Hopping

After arriving in Mcleodganj, check-in to our hotel, freshen-up and have some leisure.
Post leisure, we will head out to explore the Tibetan Market, Bhagsunag Waterfall and Chill at local cafes in Mcleodganj (recommendations: Tibet Kitchen, Jimmy's Italian Kitchen, Coffee Talk, Moonpeak Espresso, Nick’s Italian Kitchen & Illiterati Cafe). How about trying some street style momos in the market, doesn't that sound yummilicious?
In the evening, savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in Mcleodganj.

Day 2

Day Hike to Triund

Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast, begin your trek to Triund. The trail offers great views of Kangra Valley.
After reaching the hilltop, cherish the majestic Himalayan beauty and take some #InstPerfect pictures.
Trek down towards campsite and have some leisure.
Dinner and overnight stay in camps.

Day 3

Mcleodganj to Bir | Paragliding from Billing

Wake up and post breakfast, hike down to Mcleodganj, drive towards Bir.
En route, we'd be traversing through Dharamshala which is the humble abode of the Dalai Lama. We will also visit the Dharamshala Stadium.
After arriving in Bir, drive towards Billing for paragliding.
Fly down from Billing to Bir and enjoy the breathtaking sunset scene as seen from the landing site.
Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel/campsite in Bir.

Day 4

Bir Cafe Hopping | Delhi Departure

Wake up early and post breakfast, check out from our hotel/campsite in Bir and explore the local market, chill at quaint cafes and visit vibrant Tibetan monasteries by walk.
In the evening, start your overnight journey from Bir to Delhi.
Reach Delhi the next morning with lots of amazing memories and unforgettable experiences.

Inclusions

Transportation from Delhi to Delhi: AC Semi-Sleeper Volvo bus/Tempo Traveler. For local exploration Tempo Traveler/cab.
Accommodation on sharing basis: 1 night in a hotel (Mcleodganj), 1 night in a campsite, 1 night in a hotel/campsite (Bir).
Meals: Dinner (3), Breakfast (3).

Triund trek and all other local exploration as per the itinerary.
