Itinerary

Day 1

Pickup from Srinagar airport/bus stand. Begin your drive towards Aharbal and gaze at the most voluminous waterfall of Kashmir. The trek starts from here and in three hours we will reach Kungwattan which is a shepherd’s paradise, a large meadow that shimmers in green grass, houses log huts and forests. The camp is established here for the night. Dinner and overnight stay in camps.

Day 2

Wake up early and post breakfast, begin your trek towards Kounsarnag Lake and in 5 to 6 hours, we will be in front of the most beautiful triangular alpine lake of Pir Panjal. Staying one night here will make you recall the sublime bliss of childhood sleep in the lap of nature. It is a photographer’s canvas all around the lake. Dinner and overnight stay in camps.

Day 3

Post breakfast, begin to descend with ease towards the base camp - Kungwattan. Will stay here for one more night with shepherd’s following the law of nature and Vaishau river roaring on its way to Aharbal makes us feel sublime. Dinner and overnight stay in camps.

Day 4

Wake up to the peaceful mountain morning and begin our return trek to Aharbal. It will take around 2 to 3 hours to reach. We will spend quality time in front of the waterfall along with lunch. Start-off your return journey to Srinagar.

Any other costing involved due to circumstances like natural calamity, weather conditions, riots, roadblocks, landslides or any other forced circumstances which are out of our control.
