Eravikulam National Park - It is home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, and this national park gives an opportunity for trekking with beautiful views of the Western Ghats. Flora and fauna in this sanctuary are quite varied, with the Neelakurinji flower that blooms once in 12 years.

October to February: This is considered the peak tourist season. The weather is cool and pleasant with temperatures ranging from 22°C to 32°C (72°F to 90°F). It's ideal for all activities including beach visits, houseboat cruises, and wildlife safaris. However, this period can be crowded and prices are typically higher.
March to May: These are the summer months in Kerala. Temperatures can rise to 35°C (95°F) or higher, especially in inland areas. While it's hot, it's a good time for hill station visits to places like Munnar where it's cooler. It's also the best time to see animals in wildlife sanctuaries as they come out in search of water.
June to September: This is the monsoon season. While heavy rains can disrupt travel plans, it's when Kerala is at its most lush and beautiful. It's an excellent time for Ayurvedic treatments and to experience the famous Snake Boat Races (usually in August). Some travelers enjoy the less crowded attractions and lower prices during this period.
