Overview
According to Hindu belief, Chardham is the four most important Hindu religious site in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand state, India. Yamunotri, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Kedarnath are collectively known as Chardham. Chardhams are sacred temples dedicated to lord Vishnu and lord Shiva.
The ChardhamYatra of Uttarakhand is dignified as one of the foremost auspicious Yatra for Hindu devotees and this Yatra visits by a huge percentage of pilgrims from all over the earth. The essence of the Gods and nature's appeal of the ideal Himalayas are a perfect fusion that improves the religious and religious warmth of the Chardham Yatra. Along with spiritual peace, the Chardham Yatra promises of numerous surprises and joys.
The Yamunotri temple is devoted to Goddess Yamuna and it is located at an elevation of 3293 m above sea level in Garhwal Himalayas. According to legend, the temple was built by Maharaja Pratap Shah of TehriGarhwal. The temple has a hot water spring nearby, where devotees have to take a dip before entering the main hall of the shrine.
The Gangotri temple is devoted to Goddess Ganga and it is located at an elevation of 3048 m above sea level in Garhwal Himalayas. As per the legend, King Bhagirath meditated here for several years to bring down Goddess Ganga on earth. A small temple of Lord Shiva is also located nearby, called Gangotri Temple.
The Kedarnath temple is devoted to Lord Shiva and it is situated at an elevation of 3584 m above sea level in Garhwal Himalayas. According to legend, the temple was established by the Pandavas, a group of five brothers who were the protagonists of Mahabharata. The temple is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and has a vast lake at its base.
The Badrinath Temple is devoted to Lord Vishnu and is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in India. It is situated at an elevation of 3133 m above sea level in Garhwal Himalayas. According to legend, it was established by Adi Shankaracharya in 8th century CE. The temple has a beautiful idol of Lord Vishnu in an ancient shrine.
Gangotri Temple is situated at an elevation of 3,048 m above sea level in Uttarkhand state of India. It is devoted to Goddess Ganga and is one of the four holy sites of Char Dham Yatra, an important pilgrimage journey for Hindus. The temple was established by Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore in the 18th century CE. It has a large shrine dedicated to Goddess Ganga and several idols of Hindu gods and goddesses.
Kedarnath Temple is situated at an altitude of 3,583 m above sea level in Uttarkhand state of India. It is devoted to Lord Shiva and is one of

Itinerary
- Pickup from Delhi airport/railway station.
- Visit the Sri Vinayaka temple of lord Ganesh ji to take blessings.Begin your drive to Haridwar.
- After arriving in Haridwar, check in to your hotel, freshen-up, and have some leisure.
- In the evening, attend ganga aarti at Har ki pauri. (if time permits)
- Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

- Any other costing involved due to circumstances like natural calamity, weather conditions, riots, roadblocks, landslides or any other forced circumstances which are out of our control.
- Anything which is not mentioned in the above inclusions.
- GST (5%) is applicable extra.
- Porter, pony, horse, cable car, boat, train tickets, air tickets charges.
- Helicopter Ticket (As per Uttarakhand Goverment).
- VIP Ticket for Kedarnath Darshan.
Things To Pack
- Waterproof and good quality backpack or rucksack is recommended since you’ll be changing multiple accommodations during the entire trip.
- Warm woolen jackets/sweaters, air/water resistant jackets, body thermal wears, gloves, caps and extra pairs of socks to protect yourself from wind chill and low temperatures.
- Sunglasses, comfortable clothing and sports shoes.
- Personal water bottle (avoid single-use plastic) to avoid dehydration issues.
- Quick snacks for journeys like dry fruits, biscuits, chocolates, energy bars, glucose sachets.
- Personal care items, sunscreen lotion (prefer SPF30 or higher), lip balm, toiletries, wet wipes and hand sanitizer.
- Diamox (altitude sickness drug), camphor tablets, medicines for motion sickness, fever, stomach ache, headache, cold, body pain and any other personal medicines.
- Phone, camera, power banks and photography equipment.
- ATMs and an adequate amount of cash for shopping, cafe visits.
- Personal identity document like Aadhaar, driving licence, passport, etc, since it is needed while applying for inner line permit and other security checks.
Know Before You Go
- Ac will not work in hill areas.
- Cab will not enter in any restricted areas.
- Please take care of your belongings before leaving the vehicle or Hotels. Company will not be responsible for the cost of stuffs.
- For extra person in a room many hotels arrange for additional mattress also instead of extra bed.
- It is presumed that the visitor is medically healthy to start the tour. If you have certain type of allergy (especially for food) or any severe health issues kindly inform us in advance.
- Lots of small scale hotels / resorts do not have facility of lift so kindly inform us in advance if you are not easy with stairs.
- Generally hotel check in time is 12:00 PM and checkout time is 11:00 AM across India. Confirm if early check in or late checkout not included in package, cost will be chargeable.
- Many hotels charge extra for room heater or Wi-Fi. Normal package does not include this so in that case these charges should be paid at hotels.
- If meals are included in package it will be served at fixed menu basis in a buffet menu/fixed/ meal credit. Any items which are not in their in model Buffet/Fixed menu will be charged extra at the time of meal only.
- Due to any major reason if Vehicle breakdown for example major technical issues we will try our best to arrange another vehicle as soon as possible. If minor problems occur which will not take much time vehicle will be repaired. At that time your cooperation will be appreciate.
- Some incidents like natural disasters, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, closures/blockades due to political unrest etc will occur then we will not be responsible for the delays, alterations in the program or extra expanses directly or indirectly.
