Sterling Puri - Golden Sand - Beach Resort - My Luxurious Stay

After non-stop 7 Trips to mountains, I visited the beach area. This time, I planned to explore another side of Sea of Indian Ocean and visited Puri for exploring Beach of “Bay of Bengal Sea,” Jagannath Temple, Chilika Lake, local culture of Odisha and much more… and I enjoyed a lot on this trip. So In this article, I will share the story of my stay at a beach resort of Puri-

View From Balcony

On my trip to Puri, Odisha, I stayed in a Beach Resort named - Sterling Holidays. Located in a very scenic spot in Puri where Bhargavi River meets the sea, Sterling Puri Resort is a luxurious hotel that offers elegant accommodations in its deluxe rooms. You can spend a pleasant holiday here by enjoying the private beach, swim in the swimming pool, playing indoor games in their common room area, take your kids for playing in the kids playground, enjoying the mesmerising view of sunset from the side area of this resort and many other reasons which you will find, once you reach there. There is also a pool, gym, and spa.

The tour advisor at their tour desk can assist you with making your travel arrangements. I got to explore Raghurajpur (A Heritage Village) and Chilika Lake from there. There is an on-site restaurant also here which serves a variety of local and international dishes.

After arriving at the resort, they offer me the coconut water as a welcome drink, and it gave me a boost after a tiring journey from Delhi to Puri. It really gives us happiness to drink coconut water in front of this kind of view of swimming pool and beach.

The view of the sea from my room was fantastic. I spent my evening there just by enjoying the view and turning sky black from blue. I had a pleasant stay at this property, the staff was exceptionally well trained, and courteous people. They provided 24 hours services.

Rooms-

There are many kinds of rooms in this resort. I got the room with the sea view, and it was a spacious, clean and comfortable room. It was an air-conditioned room with all facilities like - comfortable double bed, TV, table - chairs, Almirahs, tea/coffee maker, A cordless phone, Godrej locker, fridge, Hi-speed Wi-Fi, etc. It seems to be able to spend comfortably even for a long stay. There were some fruits, water, tea/coffee pouch and Odia sweets in the room for us. From the balcony, you can enjoy the outside view of the sea and resort.

Washroom-

The washroom was hygiene and with 24*7 hot and cold water facilities. There were basic toiletries in their washroom like toothpaste, brush, shaving kit, boutique soap, Ayurvedic shampoo, comb, etc.

Parking Area-

There is a good parking area in this resort. You can park your vehicle here under the CCTV camera and security guard protection.

Food-

Every morning at the dining area guests may enjoy the buffet breakfast. I ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the restaurant & enjoyed all the food especially the local dishes. I enjoyed the different variety of food every day and every-time I found a new taste, and it was so delicious. The food served was more presentable, and the service from the staff was excellent.

Check in & Check out Time-

The time of check-in at Sterling Puri - Golden Sands is 12 O’clock in the noon and the check out time is 10 o’clock in the morning.

How to Reach?

You can reach Puri easily by train from the major railway station of India. You can also come to Bhubaneswar by flight and then come to Puri by Taxi (75 minutes drive) or by Bus (2 hours journey). The hotel also provides the Airport pick-up and drop services (chargeable).

Best Time to Visit?

For Jagannath Mandir darshan, every time is good, but the most pleasant time to visit Puri is the months of winter - from October to February, and if you are want to be witnessed for Jagannath Rath Yatra, you need to come to Puri in the month of June and July (precise dates change each year).
