Hisar is not a tourist destination but there are some things you can do here, there are many places where you can visit and spend a quality time with your family and friends. So Let’s Know about it- Hisar is a commercial district of the state Haryana. It is also known as Steel city of India. There are many big companies situated in Hisar like Jindal Steel Limited (JSL). There are many other reasons why Hisar is so popular destination in India. So let’s know about where should you visit during your Hisar trip- Feroz Shah Palace is also known as Gujri Mahal. It was built in 14th century by Feroz Shah Tughlaq. In this palace, you will find both kind of architecture - Indian and Islamic. The initial statement of Hisar was inside the four gates of this Palace. These gates are Mori gate, Delhi gate, Taliqi Gate and Nagori Gate. This Gujri Mahal is located at the opposite side of Hisar main bus stand. You can easily reach here by walk. Photography by professional cameras is not allowed. Agroha Dham Temple is situated in the town Agroha which is just 20 km far away from Hisar. It is the best place to visit in Hisar, Haryana if you want to go outside and hang out. Here you can visit Aggarsain Temple, do fun activities like rides and do boating as well. There are other temples also near to Agroha Dham where you can visit. This church is dedicated to the St. Thomas. This church is built with a Victorian style of architecture in 1864. It was built by wooden panels, geometric tiles, altar etc. You will find a big celebration here at the time of Christmas. Most people visit here just at the time of Christmas but this church opens all days. It is located in the main Hisar - Delhi road, so you can reach here easily. O.p Jindal Gyan Kendra is a park where you can visit and spend a good quality time with your friends and family. There is a big tower in this park. From the top of the tower, you can see the 360-degree panoramic view of Hisar City. The entry ticket of this tower is free but you have to take free tickets or pass for it. You can go to the top by lift. There is a museum also in this park where you can see the historical things of Hisar and the history of O.P Jindal. There is a public cafe, skating ring, kids rides, also in the O.P Jindal Gyan Kendra. Many local visits here daily in the evening time. You can easily reach here by taking an auto to Rani Laxmi Bai Chowk from any major stops of Hisar. This is on walking distance from the Rani Laxmi Bai Chowk. Jindal park is located near the Hisar bus stand. It is a famous park in Hisar city. The specialty of this park is the big National Flag in it. You can reach here by walking from bus stand or you can take an auto for it. It is approx. 1 km far away from the bus stand area. Splash water park is the best entertainment point if you want to spend your day with fun and joy. There are many rides in the water park and amusement park. It is located on Hisar - Chandigarh Highway, just 20 km away from Hisar city. The entry ticket of splash water park is Rs 700 for adults and Rs 1000 for couples. PLA (Police Line Area) ground is famous for street food. You will find heavy rush on every roadside stall of PLA at the evening time. You can eat there Pav bhaji, Gol Gappe, Spring Roll, Momos, Chaap, Cheese Chilli, Rabdi Faluda and more items like these. If you are also a foodie like me, then you should visit here. You can easily reach here by taking the auto from any major part of the city. Town Park is the biggest park of Hisar. You can come here for jogging in the morning time. Many locals daily come here for jogging, Yoga, Medicine and other sports activities. You can also come and chill here at the evening time. It is near to PLA Market, so you can eat street food as well. It is located in the very good location near Dabra Chowk. If you want to purchase clothes, accessories or other things in Hisar, then the Rajguru Market is the place where you can find hundreds of shops for these items. You can easily reach here by taking an auto to Nagori Gate from any major part of the city. Ram Chat Bhandar which is also famous as the name of RCB. This restaurant is famous for its fast food. This is located in Rajguru Market near Nagori gate. Try Raj Kachodi of ram chat bhandar if you are visiting Hisar anytime. You can try any other food items as well. I always prefer to visit here whenever I go shopping at Rajguru Market. Suncity is a famous shopping mall of Hisar city. Here you can do shopping at Vishal Mega Mart and other showrooms, There is a movie theatre also in this mall which is the biggest theatre in Hisar city. There are some fun activities also here for kids. You can also visit Dominos, Pizza Hut, McDonald's which are nearby to this mall. This mall is located at the Hisar - Delhi road, so it is easy to reach here by autos and buses. If you want to spend a quality time in Hisar and want to play games, watch movies, do adventures and much more, then the MG Resorts and Water Park is the best place for you. This is located in the outside area of Hisar, approx. 6-7 km far away from the city center. Here you can do many activities like paintball, Segway, Watersports, Pool game etc. Also, Read - MG Resorts and Water Park - All Information You can visit Hisar anytime during the year. As I already told you that this is not a tourist place, so you don’t need to worry about the seasons or best time. You will find Hisar same in every season. Try to avoid monsoon and summer because in monsoon, you will find heavy rainfall in Hisar and water everywhere in the roads, and if you come here in summer, you will find extreme heat here. The temperature will rise up to 48 degrees. So the best time to visit Hisar is winter and spring-time. You can reach Hisar easily by taking the bus from New Delhi, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Ganganagar and other major cities of India. Hisar is just 170 km far away from Delhi. The bus will cost you Rs 160 for coming to Hisar from Delhi. There is a big railway junction in Hisar. You can catch a train to Hisar from Delhi, Mumbai, Jammu, Ganganagar, Bikaner, Gorakhpur, Amritsar and other major cities of India. Presently, The Hisar Airport is under construction, if you want to come to Hisar, You can come to Delhi. The nearest Airport to Hisar is Delhi. It is just 170 km far away from Hisar. In future, you may be direct can fly to Hisar. You can travel from one destination to another in an Auto in just Rs 10. You don’t need to book the taxi in Hisar for transportation.
