Chambal Garden Godavari Dham Garadiya Mahadev Temple Kota Garh (Kota Fort) Seven Wonder Park Kota Zoo Jag Mandir Kishore Sagar After reaching Kota, firstly I went to Chambal Garden by city bus. I did my dinner there and charge my mobile and GoPro there. After a little refreshment, I started my work on wandering. I spent one and half hours in Chambal Garden. There is a charge of Rs 5 for entry in this garden. This garden is so neat and clean and provides an awesome view of Chambal River. If you ask me about this places to explore in Kota… then I strongly say- Yes, Its worth for time you will spend here. Garadiya Mahadev Temple is a destination which I can say — The best location of Kota, Rajasthan. This is approx. 25-30 km away from Kota City Centre. Unluckily, there is no any public transport to go there. So I have to book an auto to go there. I pay Rs 700 to auto for taking me and bringing me back from this temple. There is a Great View of nature I found on Garadiya Mahadev Temple. This View is really amazing and priceless. I can’t tell you how amazing it is. Among this view, there is a temple downside to this view of Lord Shiva. This temple is also so beautiful than I expected. There are many kinds of animals and birds there. The way to Garadiya Mahadev Temple is not so safe. Be aware of thief and animals attack. Mainly, I went to Kota for enjoying this amazing and precious view. There is a ticket of Rs 75 per person also to go inside the temple and view by Rajasthan Tourism. I spent 1 hour here and then I move towards my next destination. My Backpacking Story of Kota, Rajasthan – Solo Traveling
About Kota – A Smart City of Rajasthan-
Kota is also known as the educational capital of India and its a smart city of state Rajasthan. It is the more beautiful city as I Expected. I love to Spent my day here. Its really an amazing and unforgettable journey as my backpacking trips. Kota is really good for backpackers. I started my journey of Kota from New Delhi and I reached Kota by Train Dehradun Express. Its a random plan as others, so I didn’t have any kind of reservation on the train. So I came to Kota by doing the journey in a general class. It took approx. 8-9 hours to reach Kota from Delhi by train.Destinations I covered-
Then I move to my Next Destination which is Godavari Dham (It is not a Dam, Its a temple called Dhaam). It’s a big and very beautiful temple in Kota. There are lots of cows here. I spent half an hour here and move to my next destination which is Garadiya Mahadev Temple.Garadiya Mahadev Temple-
My Next Destination is Kota Garh. This is also known as Kota fort. This is a big fort with many historical things in it. There is a museum also in this fort. The entry ticket of the museum is Rs 40 per person and Rs 100 for whole Fort. You can also visit here in just Rs 20 if you are a student of any government school or college.
Now I move towards the Kota Zoo. It’s also a nice destination. But compare that to others I don’t satisfy from this zoo for worth of time. Because there are not so many animals in this zoo. But if you like to went zoo and spent time there. This is not so much bad also. I found 2 tigers in this zoo, there are many kinds of deer, snakes, monkeys, birds, tortoise there. The entry ticket of Zoo is Rs 20 for adults and Rs 10 for the child. After spending 30-40 minutes here I move towards my next destination – Seven Wonder Park.
Seven Wonder Park & Jagmandir-
I came to Seven Wonder Park by walking from the Kota Zoo. This is a very beautiful and famous park of Kota. There are models of all seven wonders of the world are here. I spent my whole evening at this park and jag mandir. I went to Jagmandir by doing boating from here. Jagmandir is a destination which is situated in the middle of the lake and gives you a very beautiful view of Kota City. I enjoyed a precious sunset there. I pay to Rs 100 to come here by boat. There is no any way to come here other than boats. I can say this is the best location in Kota to enjoy the sunset. After spending 1 hour here, I went back to seven wonder park. After watching the model of all the seven wonder of the world, I took rest there. After spending my evening there. At Night, I move back towards Delhi and I came back to Delhi by Train- Swaraj Express. This trip is really more amazing than I expected…
