The Seminary Hills-

The Seminary Hills is a perfect point of interest in Nagpur. It’s situated 6 km away from the city. It provides an awesome environment for young couples and students. There is Indian Air Force Maintenance command Head-Quarter, several bungalows of British period, Bala Ji temple, Van Udyaan, Museum, Some education institutes like Satpuda Botanic Garden, St. Francis De Sales College. It’s a beautiful place to visit in Nagpur. All areas are covered by trees. A small train is also there for children. You can find greenery or forest atmosphere when you visit Seminary Hills Nagpur.

Futala Lake-Best Place to Visit Nagpur

The Futala Lake-

The Futala Lake is one of the famous lakes in Nagpur. It’s constructed by Raja Bhosle. It’s not so far from city center. The lake is famous for its alluring and calm atmosphere and colorful fountains. You can enjoy your sunset here. It’s one of the best picnic spots in Nagpur. It’s like as same as Marine Drive in Mumbai or Hauz Khas in New Delhi. You can spend quality time here with your loved ones. There are many restaurants, you can find near the Futala Lake.

Sitabuldi Fort-

Sitabuldi Fort lies on two hillocks, is witness to fiercely fought battles and cruel killings. This fort of Maharashtra was put up as early as 1757, in the pre-independence era. The person who established the fort was British by birth. The year of establishment of this well-reputed fort of Nagpur is the same as the year in which the very crucial battle of Plessey was fought. In the year 1817, Mudhoji and Peshwa fought a third Anglo-Maratha war and faced a defeat at this place, as this war was for freedom, so it has become a war memorial. Sitabuldi Fort is situated in heart of the city. It’s nearby seminary hills.

Ambazari Lake and Garden, Nagpur

Ambazari Lake-

Ambazari Lake is the largest lake in Nagpur City. It’s located at 5 km away from city center. You can reach here by auto, taxi or public transport of Nagpur city. This lake is the point from where the Nag River originates. There are lots of trees of mango around the lake. That’s why it got its name as Ambazari Lake. There is a garden also near the lake known as Ambazari Garden. The garden has walking tracks for people to take morning walks there.  A musical fountain, various electric rides, and amusement games are there in the garden, which also offers boating facilities and walking trails.

Deekshabhumi-place to visit Nagpur

Deeksha Bhumi-

Deeksha Bhumi also known as Dhamma Chakra Stupa. Deekshabhoomi is a sacred monument of Buddhism in Nagpur the City of Oranges. Deekshabhoomi is a place where Dr.Baba Saheb Ambedkar converted to Buddhism and so did his thousands of followers. This conversion of religion took place on October 14th, 1956. In the present scenario, thousands of people come to Deekshabhoomi and convert into Buddhism.

Japanese Rose Garden is located on Seminary Hills approx 6 km away from Nagpur City Centre. This Garden is home to rare species of roses. This place is awesome for nature lovers.
