As this state is influenced by Buddhist and Hindu values, the prime cuisine is mainly vegetarian. Some of the must-try delicacies are Litti Chokha, Dal Pitha, Parwal Ki Mithai, Kheer Makhana, Thekua/Khajuria, Dal Puri, Sattu Paratha, Chana Ghugni and Khaja.
