  • Mayem Lake

Mayem lake is the famous lake in Goa. It’s one of the most popular tourist spots in Goa. It’s a freshwater lake. It’s situated in the town of Bicholim about 35 km’s from the capital Panaji. It’s the great spot for bird watching in Goa. In this lake, there are small pedal boats available for a boat ride. This is a perfect Picnic spot in Goa.

 

  • Flea Market at Anjuna village

Anjuna is a very popular village. It’s situated in North Goa. On every Wednesday, the Anjuna flea market holds on it. A large number of tourists come there for shopping trinkets, handicrafts, ornaments, Tibetan, Kashmiri and Gujarati T-shirts, Goan music, Indian Clothing. This market is open during tourist season i.e from October to may.

 

  • Dudhsagar Waterfalls

Dudhsagar which means “sea of milk” derives its name from foam created from the force of the water as it gushes. Dudhsagar Waterfall is on the Goa-Karnataka border. It is a petite hike down the hill through green plants and trees. One can cleanse in the cool water or just sit on it listening to the sound of the gushing waterfall but the water truly looks tempting for a dip. The dudhsagar waterfall wears its best look during monsoon with lush greenery all around. This is an awesome place for the picnic. Swimming in the water of dudhsagar is also an interesting experience.

 

  • The Casino

Goa is also famous for casinos. Some of most amazing casinos in India is located in Goa. Blinding lights, ice-cold drinks, thunderous music and numerous entertaining games are the point of attraction in Goa’s Casinos. One can experiment playing games like Rummy, Black Jack, Stud Poker, Baccarat and Flash Roulette. The entry Charges in these Casino are between INR Rs 1500 to 3000 (USD 23 to 46). Under 21 age person can’t play casino in it as per Indian government rule, so their entry fee is half than normal tickets. In INR 3000 entry charges, they give us chips of rs 2000 for playing Casino. Boat operators gather tourists in groups of 6 or 8, who hop onto a boat and venture out about a couple of kilometers into the sea to watch the dolphins circling in action. They show you dolphin in the sea, Aguada Fort from the side, Lighthouse and a sea bank Villa. They cost you Approx INR rs 200 Per person.

 

  • Water Sports in Goa

Goa is also popular for water sports or activities. There are many water sports you can add in your bucket list after visiting Goa.
