Description

Sar Pass Trek is one of the most well-known treks to do while you're in Kasol /Parvati valley. And, if you are planning to visit Kasol at any point shortly, so you can add Sar Pass trek in your bucket list.

The trek begins from the Grahan village, which is encompassed by wonderful Rhododendrons also named Burans. Achieving the height of 13,700 ft. may appear to be a little hard when you see the trails, but it gets awesome and delightful as we continue the trek further.

On your way to the Biskeri Thach or Biskeri Ridge, you'll find a frozen small lake given the name Sar, which means lake. 100 ft long snow slides can also be the most common sight during the trek so look out for the long snow slides.

Next, we will begin our trek from the Grahan village to reach Mung Thach . It would be the most troublesome, yet the most pleasing time you'd have on the trek. We'll go through the thick woodland and dense forest which similarly looks like those we see in most of the mainstream films, Video songs, and TV programs. Village Nagaru is one famous site among the well-known spots to visit in Kasol. After we cross the Nagaru, it presents us the tremendous Parvati valley encircled by the mesmerizing mountains.

The fifth day expects the longest trekking round among the various days. You will be exhausted, it's a tough task, but that everything is worth it, despite all the trouble for the snow slide, the Rhododendron backwoods and the perspectives on the Tosh valley will get printed in your mind. An enjoyable reality about the Sar Pass Trek, it's a mountain edge instead of being a genuine pass yet, the name proposes something else. Also, the famous Parvati river stream flows close by it, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

The obvious feeling of camping at the Biskeri Thach is indefinable. Pine backwoods, rhododendron bushes and the huge mountains are things that are so basic there, that you'll overlook what the world resembles without them.

Saying goodbye to this beautiful place won’t be easy. We will start descending to Barshaini via Pulga. The trail to Kheerganga, Tosh and the trio of Kalga-Tulga-Pulga all start from Barshaini. Drive back to Kasol.

To relish your best experience of Sar Pass Trek, any individual needs to pick the planning accurately. You will witness the thick snow when you arrive at the higher altitude and the climate in Sar Pass is at its best.
