Hello, Fellow Travelers, This time we are ready to explore the beauty of an Offbeat part of Himachal Pradesh. In This Trip, we explore the culture of Himachal, visit the local farms, forest hiking, taste the traditional food, trek to the Snowy Chanshal Pass.
About Chanshal Pass-
The Chanshal Pass, or Chanshal Valley, links Dodra Kwar and Rohru in the Shimla district of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The pass sits atop Chanshal Peak, which at 4,520 metres is the highest peak in the Shimla district.
Here is Itinerary-
Day 1 –
Drive to Larot Village From Shimla,
We Cover Following Destinations in route-
Will take tea and snacks as welcome drink in Larot and do a tour around Village and temple.
Further enjoy Bonfire and delicious home cooked dinner at Evening.
Stay at classic wooden yet modern property at Larot.
Day 2 –
Enjoy the Morning breakfast in front of scenic view of Snowcapped Mountains of Pir Panjal Range and then will leave to Chanshal Peak and Saru Lake (Trek location can be changed as per climate conditions, (packed lunch or lunch at Chanshal only).
By 6pm will reach back to Thira Chanshal. Bonfire and dinner again.
After breakfast again visit Dodra-Kwar (remotest villages), famous temples and back to Larot. You’d be offered authentic local dishes.
After breakfast will go for a forest trek to see biggest waterfall or area and walk to Biggest Deodar tree in Asia. Bonfire, music and dinner again.
Drive Back to Shimla after the lunch.
