How to Reach Ooty?
You can reach here by catching bus from the major cities of South India – Bangalore, Mangalore, Coimbatore, Kannur (Kerala) etc. I cam here by bus from Kannur (Kerala), that was Tamil Nadu State Transport Bus and its charged me around Rs 200 for 220 Km. This was an overnight journey and I suggest you also to do overnight journey if you are coming from Kannur, Bangalore etc.
You can reach Ooty by train as well. The railway station of Ooty is Udagmandalam Railway Station which is accessible by toy train from Coimbatore. There are very less train to Ooty, so check the train availability and be on time and enjoy your scenic journey of toy train.
The nearest airport to Ooty is Coimbatore international airport which is around 85 km far away from Ooty. You can reach Ooty by taxi or bus from Coimbatore airport.

St. Stephens Church-
St. Stephens Church is located at Club Road of Ooty. It was built by the British almost 200 years ago and still looks as magnificent. You should must visit here if you are planning to visit Ooty on the time of Christmas. The timing of St. Stephens Church is from Morning 10 Am to Evening 5 Pm.
Dolphin’s Nose View Point-
Dolphin’s Nose viewpoint is one of the best places to visit in Ooty. It is located at the altitude of 1550 meters above the sea level. You will find a fantastic view of Nilgiri hills from this view point. The timing of Dolphin’s Nose viewpoint is from Morning 9:00 AM to Evening 6:00 PM.
Doddabetta Peak is located at Ooty-Kotagiri Road. This is the highest peak in the Nilgiris at an altitude of 8606 feet. The timings of Doddabetta Peak is Morning 8:30 AM to Evening 6:30 PM. There is an entry ticket of Rs 10 for this Peak and View Point.
