Prashar Lake Trek

Prashar Lake is the scenic lake of Himachal Pradesh. This is one of the famous lakes of Himachal Pradesh. The lake houses a floating island which keeps changing its position from time to time. The trek follows a charming trail through a forest and several water streams. The mountain ranges visible from the trail are the mighty Dhauladhar, Pir Panjal, and Kinnaur mountain ranges.

Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Day 1, Friday- Everyone meet at boarding point - RK Ashram Metro Station. Overnight Journey in a Semi Sleeper Volvo Bus or tempo traveler.

  • Day 2

    Day 2, Saturday- After Reaching Mandi, We will take the breakfast and start the Journey towards our Campsite located in Teel Village near Prashar Lake. It will take 2 hours to reach our Campsite From Mandi. The Road to Prashar Lake is full of beautiful landscape view of High Peaks. After Reaching Teel, Will check in to our campsite Welcome drinks on arrival. Take lunch at the campsite. Take a rest and will go for a small hike to sunset point to enjoy the mesmerising sunset of this region. Enjoy the mesmerising sunset from top and trek down to our Campsite. Bonfire party along with the evening snacks. Dinner and overnight stay in alpine camps.

  • Day 3

    Day 3, Sunday - Wake up and enjoy the awesome sunrise view of Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal Range. Take breakfast. Visit the Prashar Rishi Temple and Holy Prashar Lake. Hike to Prashar lake top. Visit an offbeat lake of this region - Sukasar Lake, located at a distance of 3 km from Prashar Lake Come back to the campsite and take lunch. Take rest and move towards Mandi. Mandi sightseeing - Victoria Bridge, Indira Market, Trilokinath Temple etc. At night we will leave for Delhi and reach around 6 Am in the morning.
