Kedarnath is one of the most sacred pilgrimages of Lord Shiva located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. Perched at an altitude of 3586 mt, it is one of the four major sites of Chota Char Dham Yatra and also one of the five Panch Kedar. The Kedarnath Temple lies amidst the magnificent snow-capped Garhwal Himalayan ranges and is visited by thousands of tourists every year. The temple was built over a thousand years ago by massive stone slabs over a large rectangular platform. The present temple was built by Adi Shankaracharya. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. In Kedarnath, there are more than 200 shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Assemble at boarding point in Delhi at 8 pm - Akshardham Metro Station

    Start an overnight journey to Guptkashi and socialize with your  co-travellers.

  • Day 2

    En route Guptkashi, we will take a pit stop at Srinagar-Garhwal to grab a satisfying breakfast.

    After arriving in Guptkashi, check in to our comfortable cottages/camps, freshen up and have some leisure.

    Visit the Vishwanath Temple (if time permits).

    Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 3

    Wake up early to witness the beautiful sunrise and post breakfast check out from our hotel.

    Drive to Sitapur and take a local jeep from there till Gaurikund (Included).

    Begin your trek to Kedarnath Dham - one of the Char Dham of Uttarakhand.

    You can also choose Pony/Doli/Helicopter for the trek at your own cost.

    Reach Kedarnath Dham by late evening.

    After arriving in Kedarnath, check in to our Guest House/Campsite, freshen up and have some leisure.

    Take your Dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 4

    Wake up early morning to visit the Kedarnath Temple.

    Witness the beautiful sunrise and the mesmerizing view of high-altitude peaks behind Kedarnath.

    Post breakfast, check out from our guest house and begin your trek down to Gaurikund.

    Drive back to Tala village.

    Warm bonfire along with light music.

    Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 5

    Post breakfast, check out from the property.

    Visit the Aakashkamini riverside.

    Start your journey towards Delhi via Rishikesh.

    Take a pit stop at Rudraprayag (to witness the confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini), Devprayag (to witness the confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi).

    Visit Laksham Jhula and Rishikesh market at night.

    Reach Delhi by the next morning.
