₹6999 for 3 Days 2 Nights

Description

Nestled in the lap of mighty Dhauladhars, Mcleodganj is a starting point for a number of Himalayan treks. Situated to the south of the mighty Dhauladhar range, Kareri Lake is a popular trekking destination in Himachal’s Kangra district. A beautiful and picturesque glacial lake, Kareri Lake is blessed with the virgin natural beauty and holy site for the locals like Gujjars and Gaddis who reside in the nearby villages. The trek to Kareri Lake passes through thick pine forest and a few small villages. This high altitude Himalayan lake receives water from the snow melting from the Dhauladhar range. The water from the Kareri Lake then outflows in the form of a stream known as Nyund. Located in the Kangra district, Kareri Lake is one of the alpine treks and best suited for experienced trekkers who have had some prior experience of trekking in the Himalayan region. So, pack your bags and come on board for Kareri Lake trek, a place definitely not worth a miss, especially for nature lovers and thrill seekers.
