About Chandrashila Peak - 

Chandrashila is summit of the Tungnath. It literally means "Moon Rock". It is located at a height of about 4,000 metres above sea level. This peak provides views of the Himalayas, including Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks. There are various legends associated with this place.

Covid-19 Travel Guidelines-

For Travellers

1. It is mandatory to carry COVID-19 RT-PCR negative report (validity 96 hours) approved from an ICMR certified lab.

2. Carry the hard copy of E-permit of the concerned state to which you are travelling. For queries regarding travel permit, feel free to contact us for assistance.

3. Carry a valid Govt ID along with your address proof (Aadhar card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport or any other valid ID).

4. Download the Aarogya Setu application on your mobile device.

5. Carry hand sanitizer, face mask, hand gloves, your own towels and laundry as a preventive measure.

1. We are following all the safety measures and SOPs as dictated by MHFW & MHA (Govt of India) for protection against COVID-19 and we expect the same from you as a responsible traveller.

2. We make sure to sanitize the vehicles and properties (rooms/camps) before check-in and after check-out.

3. The trip coordinators and drivers with a valid COVID-19 negative test report will be provided.

4. Contact-less checkins and periodic sanitization of the property during your long stays.

5. The total batch size will be 8 in a 12 seater Tempo Traveler.

1. We expect you to strictly adhere to the above guidelines for your own safety and for the safety of others.

2. We are directly/indirectly not responsible for submission of fake COVID-19 test reports or discrepancy found in E-permit. This might result in legal action being taken under the National Disaster Management Act.

3. Any changes/modification in the trip itinerary/package due to COVID-19 situation can be made if necessary for the safety of travellers.

  • Day 1

    After arriving in Chopta, check in to our scenic hotel/campsite, freshen-up, regroup for a hearty lunch and have some leisure.

    The ones with high energy levels, feel free to take a stroll around the campsite post-lunch.

    In the evening, enjoy a warm bonfire and mouth-watering snacks under a million stars.

    Savor home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in cottages/camps.

  • Day 2

    Wake up early to witness the beautiful sunrise and post breakfast check out from our campsite.

    Begin your trek to Tungnath - one of the Panch Kedar and the World’s highest temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. 

    Trek further to magnificent Chandrashila peak situated at 13,000 ft (if weather permits).

    Trek back to Chopta village and have some leisure.

    Savor home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

  • Day 3

    Wake up to a peaceful mountain morning and post breakfast begin your trek to mesmerizing Deoriatal.

    Trek back to Sari village and post-lunch start-off your return journey.


  • Accommodation on sharing basis: Cottages (Near Chopta)
  • Experienced and cool trip leader.
  • Bonfire (if weather permits) and evening snacks.
  • Meals: Dinner (2), Breakfast (2).


  • Any extra meals apart from the ones mentioned under inclusions.
  • Travel Insurance, items of a personal nature like porterage, tips, laundry etc.
  • Any entry fees, extra expenses for optional activities or tickets, unless quoted in Inclusions.
  • Any other costing involved due to circumstances like natural calamity, weather conditions, riots, roadblocks, landslides or any other forced circumstances which are out of our control.
  • GST (5%) is applicable extra.
