Day 2: Rola Kholi to Bhrigu Lake trek and back (10 km)

Day 3: Rola Kholi to Gulaba trek (6 km) | Drive from Gulaba to Manali

Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Manali Arrival & Drive To Gulaba | Trek To Rola Kholi (6 km)

    Assemble at the boarding point in Manali (location will be shared) and drive to Gulaba (chaudah mor). Gulaba serves as the base camp for the Bhrigu Lake trek. The scenic drive from Manali to Gulaba has many hairpin bends and offers breathtaking views of Kullu & Solang valleys.

    Nestled on Rohtang-Manali highway, you'll begin with your thrilling trek towards your first campsite named Rola Kholi from Gulaba. From lush green forests, majestic Himalayan peak views to refreshing glacial streams, the trekking trail to Rola Kholi has so much to offer.

    After arriving at Rola Kholi, check in to our scenic campsite and have some leisure. Feel free to take a stroll around your campsite and soak amidst the stunning Himalayan beauty. Rola Kholi is situated at the base of the dome peak of Bhrigu Lake. Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in camps at Rola Kholi.

  • Day 2

    Rola Kholi To Brighu Lake Trek & Back | 10 km

    Wake up early in the morning and witness an elegant sunrise over the snow capped peaks. Post breakfast, we will begin our trek from Rola Kholi to Bhrigu Lake nestled at 14,100 ft above sea level. Entire trail is made up of alpine meadows and boulders hence it becomes a bit trickier. You'll be trekking over a mountain ridge while trekking to Bhrigu Lake from Rola Kholi. While trekking you'll get to see some amazing views of Kullu & Solang valleys.

    After arriving at Bhrigu Lake summit, witness the holy lake and seek blessings. Get mesmerized by the gorgeous view of Hanuman Tibba, Deo Tibba, Mt. Friendship peak, Shetidar and many more. Take some #InstaPerfect pictures with beautiful views. Later, you'll begin our downhill trek to Rola Kholi.

    At Rola Kholi, have some leisure and feel free to take a stroll around your campsite. Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in camps at Rola Kholi.

  • Day 3

    Rola Kholi To Gulaba Trek (6 km) | Drive To Manali

    Wake up to a peaceful mountain morning and post breakfast, we will begin our downhill trek from Rola Kholi to Gulaba (chaudah mor). After reaching Gulaba, drive towards Manali.

    By afternoon, you will be dropped at Manali. If time permits, feel free to stroll around the town or chill at various theme-based cafes in Old Manali. Trek ends with lots of amazing memories and unforgettable experiences.

  • Transportation: Tempo Traveler/cabs (from Manali to Gulaba and back).
  • Accommodation on sharing basis in Alpine/Dome Camps.
  • Experienced trek leader and support staff.
  • Meals: Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner (starting from Day 01 Lunch till Day 03 Breakfast) and complimentary evening tea & snacks.
  • First-Aid medical kits for emergencies.
  • Trekking equipment: sleeping bag, mattress, tent, kitchen & dining tent, toilet tent, utensils and crampon (if required). Also, gaiters, micro spikes and rope (if required).
  • All necessary entry fees and permits.
  • Driver allowances, toll taxes, parking, state taxes.

Exclusions

  • Any extra meals apart from the ones mentioned under inclusions.
  • Travel Insurance, items of a personal nature like porterage, tips, laundry etc.
  • Any other costing involved due to circumstances like natural calamity, weather conditions, riots, roadblocks, landslides or any other forced circumstances which are out of our control.
  • GST (5%) is applicable extra.

Things to Pack

Waterproof and good quality rucksack (40-60 liters) and a day backpack, no trolley bags

Above-the-ankle waterproof trekking shoes

Comfortable clothing: down jacket, trekking jacket, trek/cargo pants, cotton long/short sleeves t-shirts and four pair of socks

Raincoats or ponchos and plastic cover (for wet clothes, smartphone, wallet, cash, etc)

Sunblock lotions, lip balm, coconut oil and other personal care items & toiletries

Warm woolen sweaters, caps and gloves (depending upon the season)

Water bottle (avoid single-use plastic)

Quick snacks for journey like dry fruits, chocolates

Personal medicines (or prescribed if any)

Phone, camera and photography equipments

ATMs and adequate amount of cash for shopping, cafe visits

Items like torch, power banks, sunglasses

Personal identity document like Aadhaar, driving licence, passport

Important Notice

Route changes, postponement, delay, or finishing the trek a day earlier: Under some extraordinary circumstance, your trek may end a day earlier or start a day later. This may become necessary due to inclement weather, heavy rainfall conditions, political restrictions, or any other cause. In the event of a change, postponement or delay, participants have no right to refund of the trek (in whole or in part) or other compensation for any injury, loss or damage. Trek fee is not charged broken down in terms of days but is a composite fee for the whole trek.

In such a case, we will look for the best possible alternatives, as feasible. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of safety, comfort and general wellbeing as per the call taken by locals, the driver and your trek leader.
